ECAP would like to further develop its communication activities with the support of an international peace expert.
You will be located in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

Professional in strategic communication as part of the Civil Peace Service (CPS) programme in Guatemala

Background

The Civil Peace Service (CPS) is a programme for the prevention of violence and the promotion of peace in crisis and conflict regions. As an expert in the CPS, you will work with partner organisations that are committed to social justice, peace and the realisation of human rights on the ground. The organisations work in a national network of peace organisations and thus join forces for sustainable and effective social transformation.
Asociación Equipo de Estudios Comuitarios y Acción Psicosocial (ECAP) is one of the leading human rights organisations in Guatemala and a central partner of the CPS Central America programme.
In the context of shrinking room for manoeuvre for civil society organisations, suitable communication strategies are of particular importance. ECAP would like to further develop its communication activities with the support of an international peace expert. The aim is to make ECAP's work on human rights violations (e.g. in the context of migration) even more visible and to provide those affected with even greater support in raising awareness of their situation and realising their rights.

The organisation is based in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
