Train-the-trainer and psychosocial counsellors (f/m/x) to support women in their self-empowerment in DR Congo

Background

With the support of the German government, over 350 highly qualified peace experts are currently working in 43 countries as part of the Civil Peace Service. Bread for the World contributes to the commitment in the DR Congo. Our approach is based on cooperation with strong partner organisations. If you too would like to contribute your expertise and passion to work together to shape a peaceful future, then you have come to the right place:
In the context of sexualised violence, our partner organisation Réseau d'innovation organisationnel (RIO) makes an effective contribution to creating peaceful coexistence in communities. Among other things, RIO relies on counsellors who are dedicated to the reintegration of traumatised women and girls and offer them psychosocial support. In addition, RIO initiates regenerative and integrative activities that contribute to healing and community inclusion.
RIO does not have the human resources to train its staff in psychosocial counselling and trauma healing, among other things, and is looking for you. Your commitment will enable traumatised people to return to their community and at the same time strengthen the psychosocial skills of RIO staff.
